Festive Russian Salad

  • 2 ½ chopped potatoes
  • 1 chopped carrot
  • ¼ cup petit pois or peas
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • 2 boiled eggs
  • 1 red apple chopped
  • ¼ cup chopped cooked beet
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • Salt to taste

Let's prepare it!

Peel the potatoes and carrot and chop them into small cubes. In a pot, add enough water to boil with a little salt (just a pinch). When they are cooked, remove the water and let them cool. Boil the eggs for 12 minutes, peel, let cool and chop. You are going to put the chopped onion in the vinegar and oil, mix with the mayonnaise and eggs, combine well without breaking up, add salt to taste, petit pois, potatoes, carrot, apple and beet, stir until everything is united, bring to the refrigerator for 10 minutes. If you want to make the classic version, do not add the red apple and beet. Serve and enjoy your festive salad, it's delicious!
